Here around Cowboy Creek even the bugs are a bit unique. Each morning we open the window and enjoy the simple symphony of life unfolding outside. As I was wandering in the meadow one sunny afternoon I happened to stumble into “Fredrick and the gang” as they were about to start band practice. You might just say it was a bee-utiful experience, but then nothing really surprises me here around the “Creek” anymore.
Each wonderful piece is handcrafted in Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) region of Germany. Originally the people of the area made their living as coal miners, but when the coal deposits gave out they turned to the forests to make a living. Families began making their favorite figures and selling them in their homes or at local Christmas Markets, today they are sold around the world and are sought after collectibles. These fine art miniatures of wood are a perfect addition to any country décor and are sure to become family heirlooms.
