St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital located in Memphis Tennessee was founded in 1962 by entertainer Danny Thomas, with the specific goal of curing cancer in children. Families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. St. Jude’s remains in the forefront in the battle against cancer and shares its medical breakthroughs with the worldwide medical community.
