Flower Girl with Hollyhocks (Malve) by Original Hubrig
The flower children call to mind those simpler days gone by. Here around the "creek" each summer my cousins and I would gather arm loads of sunflowers, decorate our wagons and pull them by grandma in our little parade. For mom it evokes memories of climbing the hills in search of the first Curlyheads of the season, and for grandma hours spent tending the roses. Those memories are continued today in the Original Hubrig Flower children collection. Pick one or start a collection each child carries their flower with pride. Each figure is crafted and hand painted in the German Erzgebirge (the Ore Mountains). Malve is the German name for Hollyhocks.
