Around Cowboy Creek, the pond often hosts a gaggle of geese, migrating south or north depending on the season. A boy from across the valley is well-versed in all thing's geese. "Did you know that geese are an excellent choice for a security system?" he asked. "They have keen eyesight, make loud noises, and their beaks have sharp teeth." I admitted my ignorance. "And did you know they mate for life and are incredibly loyal?" The boy was knowledgeable. His name escapes me, but I've since dubbed him "Goose Boy."
