Description
Every now and then, a couple of bunnies emerge from the forest and hop their way into Paul’s garden. Most folks might fret over nibbled leaves or missing carrots, but not Paul. He simply smiles and lets them be. Whether they help themselves to a few carrots or a handful of kale, he’s content to share.
Around Cowboy Creek, people say Paul grows vegetables for two reasons: one, because he enjoys tending the earth… and two, because he loves watching the bunnies enjoy the harvest just as much as he does. There’s something endlessly amusing about the way they sit back on their haunches, munching away as if they’ve been invited to supper.
In this tiny scene, you can almost hear the soft crunch of carrots and see Paul leaning on his rake, chuckling at his unexpected dinner guests.
