Autumn in Cowboy Creek arrives with a sense of purpose — fields ready for harvest, meadows turning gold, and the first cool winds sweeping through the valley. It’s the season when the year gathers its riches, when families work side by side, and when the land prepares for its long winter rest.

This Child of the Seasons – Autumn captures that moment of abundance and gratitude. A farmer stands before a harvest basket, reaching for his scythe as he prepares to gather the final grasses of the season. His red jacket and brown hat echo the warm tones of fall, while a playful puppy leans against the basket, adding a touch of joy to the workday.

Beside him, the farmer’s wife carries a bundle of freshly cut grain under her arm, a wooden rake in her hand. Her blue‑gray dress and yellow apron glow against the autumn colors, and a red ribbon tied in her hair gives her a cheerful, hardworking charm.
