Corbie the Crow

Here around the “creek” crows are a daily part of life. Although nobody will take credit for it, someone got the bright idea to start feeding the poor little darlings! What started as two guests for dinner soon turned into over 100, it’s just lucky for us they aren’t picky eaters. Their unique call is as country as the song of the rooster, and just as early. I have to say our little Corbie is extra special though, what with his fine hat he might just make our local crows a little jealous!

Made in Germany by the Christian Ulbricht Family, Corbie was the 2013 special event piece. Hand signed he measures 7” high x 4.5” wide x 9”inches long made of wood. Head tips backwards to crack nuts. Perfect for any country home or collection, makes a wonderful gift too.
