Fawnie Bucket

Up in the quiet folds of Cowboy Creek, where winter settles softly over the hills and the lanterns glow warm against the early dusk, there’s a little deer who has become something of a legend. Folks say she appears only when the first snowflake drifts down — a tiny woodland messenger named Fawnie, carrying Christmas cheer in a bucket as small as her own brave heart.

Hand‑painted in tender woodland browns, Fawnie’s bright eyes sparkle with that familiar Cowboy Creek wonder, as if she’s just trotted out from behind the old cedar stump near the creek bend. A spray of festive ornaments rests by her ear — treasures she’s gathered from the forest’s secret holiday nooks — and a glitter‑kissed bow sits proudly at her neck, shimmering like a star caught in the branches.

Her petite paper mâché bucket, finished with a glossy lacquer, feels like something a child might discover on a frosty morning: a place for peppermints, tiny notes, sprigs of pine, or simply a bit of Christmas magic. The wire handle lets her hang from a tree, a wreath, or a cozy shelf, always watching over the room with her gentle woodland charm.

In Cowboy Creek, we say Fawnie doesn’t just decorate a home — she keeps Christmas company. And once she arrives, she tends to stay, year after year, bringing that same soft joy to every corner she touches.
