Description
When the October wind rattles the shutters at Cowboy Creek and the lantern light flickers just a little too dramatically, that’s when Scaredy Sassy Cat makes her appearance — tail curled tight, eyes wide with worry, and a mouth glowing like she’s mid‑yowl about something only she can see.
Hand‑painted paper mâché gives her that wonderful primitive charm, the kind that feels like it’s been passed down through generations. The flat paint, soft scuffs, and worn edges make her look like a true vintage survivor — a Halloween relic with stories to tell. Her vellum eyes and mouth glow beautifully when you place a battery candle inside, turning her startled expression into a warm, flickering beacon of spooky delight.
She’s part of the Primitive Collection, and she wears it proudly — rustic, imperfect, full of character, and absolutely brimming with Cowboy Creek personality. Whether she’s perched on a mantel, tucked into a display of pumpkins, or guarding the porch from imaginary ghosts, Scaredy Sassy Cat brings that playful, jittery magic that makes Halloween feel alive.
