Description
When the autumn winds begin to rustle through the tall grass at Cowboy Creek, the old‑timers say you can sometimes spot a particular fellow marching along the fence line — chest out, feathers fluffed, and a look of great seasonal importance. That would be Mr. Harvest Turkey, keeper of the creek’s Thanksgiving cheer.
Hand‑painted in warm, earthy tones, he carries the look of a vintage holiday treasure — the kind you’d find tucked away in a cedar chest, waiting patiently for November’s return. His bright red head and golden beak give him a proud, storybook charm, while his layered paper mâché feathers seem to whisper tales of crisp mornings, pumpkin patches, and the first woodsmoke of the season.
Set atop a grassy green base and finished with a sturdy wire handle, he feels like a piece straight out of the Cowboy Creek folklore — the turkey who patrols the meadow each year, making sure every home is ready for gathering, gratitude, and good company. Place him on a shelf, tuck him into a centerpiece, or let him stand guard near your Thanksgiving table. Wherever he roosts, he brings that unmistakable harvest magic.
