Spring arrives in Cowboy Creek the way it arrives in the old folktales — softly, gently, with children stepping out into the first warm day as if answering a call from the earth itself. Buds swell on the branches, ribbons flutter in the breeze, and the meadow hums with new life.

This Child of the Seasons – Spring captures that awakening perfectly. Two children greet each other at a stone gate adorned with a ribbon‑trimmed tree — red, blue, and yellow strands dancing like early spring winds. The boy steps forward with a staff crowned in greenery and a white ribbon, his backpack and umbrella hinting at the unpredictable weather of the season. The girl sits on a wooden stool weaving a bright flower wreath, her dress glowing with cheerful color, a tiny crown of blossoms resting on her head.

Around them, the meadow stirs: a ladybug exploring the fresh grass, a striped kitten keeping the girl company, a walkway and green base grounding the whole scene in the first true days of spring.
