Description
Winter in Cowboy Creek arrives with a hush — icy winds sweeping through the valley, snow settling on rooftops, and the soft glow of lamplight guiding travelers home. It’s the season when music carries farther, when kindness feels warmer, and when even the coldest days hold small miracles.
This Child of the Seasons – Winter captures that tender moment perfectly. A street musician stands before a yellow house, his violin singing into the crisp winter air. A green streetlamp glows behind him, casting a gentle light as he draws his bow across the strings. A few thalers rest in his open violin case — tokens of gratitude from passersby.
Beside him stands a young girl, bundled in a thick brown coat and blue scarf, a matching blue cap pulled snug over her head. In one hand she holds a thaler, ready to offer her small donation. With the other, she pulls a wooden sled carrying a gingerbread man — a sweet winter treat for the journey home.
The ground beneath them is a blend of brown earth and fresh snow, capturing that moment when autumn’s last traces meet winter’s first blanket.
